THE 10 MOST WINNING COMPANIES IN THE WORLD IN 2020 ••

Walmart

 $ 524,000 million

Industry: Retail Trade.

  Products: Bakery products, beers, frozen uncooked meals, meat remedies, seafood and other products.

  Walmart is at the top of the list of the world's most profitable companies.

  Walmart is the third largest chain of retail stores with lower-than-average size products in the United States and Canada.  It was founded by Sam Walton and is headquartered in Bentonville, on the north-west side of Arkansas state.

  Interestingly, Walmart has so far failed to set up the same efficient delivery system as Walmart, for example, Amazon.

  Yet sometimes the company develops original original designs.  For example, a bidding system was offered in 2013 to those who agreed to deliver their goods to their neighbors who bought it.

  Despite taking the first place in the ranking, Walmart has shortcomings such as expansion, the war against Amazon and frequent criticism problems by its customers.

  However, this other organization is far from critical to capitalization.

  According to many analytical experts, Walmart can "collapse" only under "itself" from its giant size.  No one knows if the giant that organizes the background work can quickly adapt to the rapidly growing market where you need to be ready 24/7 to reorganize.

State Grid

 $ 387,000 million

Industry: Electric energy.

 State Grid Corporation of China is a Chinese power generation and distribution company that is the largest in this industry in the world.  It ranks fifth in the TOP list of the world's largest companies according to its income.

 The State Grid was established in 2002 by decree of the State Council of the People's Republic of China as a by-product of the three-stage reform of the State Council of the People's Republic of China that started in 1986.

 The reform separated China's previous State Energy Corporation from two utility companies that resulted in a state-owned electricity system.  Nowadays, State Grid owns and operates five regional grid companies and 24 electricity companies.

 The company focuses primarily on the creation and operation of electricity grids inside and outside of China (for example, the Philippines and Brazil).  The institution has a monopoly on energy transmission and sales in the domestic market.

 It is one of the strongest companies in the Chinese state and one of the most profitable companies in the world.  It ranks second in the TOP ranking.

 It was established in July 1998 after the restructuring of the state-owned China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation, which has been operating since 1983.  Sinopec is involved in the exploration and development of oil and gas fields, as well as the processing and sales of oil and gas and their derivatives.

 Interestingly enough, Chén Tónghǎi, who was sentenced to the most terrible punishment - the death penalty - for bribery in 2009, was president of the company from 2003-2007.

 It's funny that Wang Tianpu, the former head of China's Sinopec Group, was also deprived of liberty for 15.5 years in January 2017 due to bribery.

 Saudi Aramco (an Oil Company from Saudi Arabia) is one of the most mysterious of the companies on this list.

 It seems particularly strange that until 2019, the company did not appear on the Fortune Global 500 list at all.  We do not even mention that it is in the top 10.

 The thing is that this oil giant officially released its financial statements for the first time in March 2019.  According to the tables, the company's net income reached 111.1 billion dollars in 2018, which is almost twice what Apple earned.

 Saudi Aramco also listed its shares on the Tadawul Stock Exchange in December that year.  Thus, the market value of the company increased to 1.88 trillion dollars and thus the company became the most valuable company in the world.

 Today SA is recognized as the world's leading oil production and reserves.

 Another interesting fact: Saudi Aramco was founded in 1933 in the US state of Delaware.  Until 1944, the company's name was California-Arabian Standard Oil, and from 1944 to 1988 it was called Arabian American Oil Company (Aramco).

 In fact, the foundation of the company was laid by American Standard Oil of California, which received a concession from the Saudi Arabian government.  Later, other companies such as Texas Oil Co (Texaco), Standard Oil of New Jersey (now Exxon) and Socony Vacuum (now Mobil) also became shareholders of Aramco.

 Today, the company is headquartered in Dhahran and is owned by the Saudi Arabian Government.
